Hello Riki, I saw this thread today for the first time, I'm not on the forum very often. Your picture of the new connecting rods really caught my eye. Would you mind giving me some more information about these connecting rods?

I own a 1937 Packard Twelve Club sedan which is a restoration project that I plan to start working on this summer. It's been off the road since 1953.

I have the original rods for it, but eventually I'll have to face the problem of the non-available rod bearings. Are the rods in your picture something that will be for sale from one of the vendors? Am I correct in thinking you're using an easily available bearing shell? Any information you're willing to share would be much appreciated. Thanks!
