See in the Owner Registry you have a '38 Twelve Touring Sedan. Now someone will correct me if I'm wrong
but "I think" the bodies for the Senior Cars were virtually the same year-to-year in that era. Plus Twelve production was fairly low so unused bodies might be sitting for a while until put into production. And the Thief Proof Number is the large embossed number on the firewall, if you can provide that, it may help.
