I need some help with the behind the dash wiring on my 1928 526 Sedan. I believe the wiring would be the same for any 526/33 body style.
It appears that the wiring has been changed over the 90+ years the car has been around. So my questions are:
1). The instrument/dash lights (two are shown on wiring diagram) are not there. Where is the switch supposed to be and where are the lights?
2) There is supposed to be a circuit breaker that 'buzzes' when there is an overload. Where is that located and what does it look like?
If somebody has a dash that is out for restoration or is willing to take a cellphone photo of the underneath of the dash on an original or restored car I would be very appreciative. I have found that selfie mode on a cellphone allows you to take photos under the dash without having to be a contortionist. Any help will be appreciated.
I have attached a photo of my dash. You can see it is an early car with spark and choke on top. Also attached a photo of the car. Crusty runs great.
I would like to get this wiring sorted out before driving to the Pontiac National Meet this summer.
Thank you,
Rob
