Gas cap is 29 or 30, Bumper are 31? The generator is definitely not stock for an 840/845, voltage regulator is likely 40s or 50s. Is that the fuel pump next to the time chain breather? If so, it doesn't look like it runs to the carb. Also looks like their is a fuel cut-off mounted on the frame just rear of the carb that the rubber fuel line goes to. Carb is not a Detroit Lubricator 51. Can anyone identify it? Bijur tank is the manual "Pull Daily" type and is correct for 8th series. Tail lights are definitely 29. Coil is modern (should be dash mounted for an 840/845). Can't see the starter, but it is switched via a firewall mounted solenoid.

A very nice looking car, but I agree that it is definitely not European coach built or any other original coach builder.
