Here is a chart from Motor's Auto Manual.
You did not specify type of motor but it covers all 3.
Actual torque specs before the war are rarely given, 60-62 ft/lbs is usual
As it has been pointed out on this site many times. A gradual tightening is needed to slowly bring the gasket and surfaces into a proper seal. Wait a bit before stepping through to top torque to allow the gasket to relax. 10 ft/lbs at a time after initial 40 ft/lb range.
Another hint I would give is to fill the cooling system with distilled water. When first seating these long heads you will likely get a few leaks until you have retorqued a few times through the heat and cooling cycle. The water will cause less harm than an anti-freeze mix if it gets into cylinder walls and valve seats and guides. Once everything is sealed, drain and mix up your preferred anti-freeze coolant.
Good luck!
