Yes, On my Richards 1601 I did move the motor/OD back into the firewall about half an inch. I also moved the radiator core into the radiator cradle by about the same. I used a 282 front motor mount and rubbers. I also used an R6 overdrive as there is no governor so you don't need to cut an additional hole in the X member. I have fitted an R6 to my 38 Richards Six but kept the 245 motor. I converted both od's to floor change top. Appears to work well. Quite a few people in OZ have fitted R6 OD's to 120 B and C vehicles.
