Clock - 1939 Six

I am in the process of completing some work on my clock and need to put it back in soon. It was partially unhooked when I got it and there were some loose fuses near. Were these placed in-line before to protect the clock or am I making some errant assumptions? If anyone has pics to help that would be appreciated. Thanks.
