Rudy, I have just reviewed all the images on your site and have many comments.
+Your title indicates 1014-284; your copy states 1014-282.
According to my records, it should be 1014-284.

According to my records, it was originally owned by a "J.J. Flattery & Sons" and it had 7 bullet holes in it.
I wish I had all the details; it is only what was provided to me many years ago.

+It would be very beneficial to post an image of the data plate and an image of the embossed firewall #
Of course, some words must be added about the the condition of the engine and whether it has been recently on a 500 mile tour or if it has been stored for 40 years.

Since you will be listing it in an auction, be aware that, while the car is presentable, it was not restored to original.
Besides the tail light issue, I notice the following issues:

+ The upholstery and pattern are not standard for the Super-Eight.
+ The air cleaner is not 1937 Super-Eight
+ The horn button is not 1937 Super-Eight
+ There appears to be some non-standard linkage below the heater hoses on the right side of the engine.
+ The coil base is missing
+ The heater hose attachment to the left side of the engine is non-standard
+ The instrument surround should be a brushed finish with accents.
+ rear foot rest is missing
+ rear arm rests are incorrect
+ hub caps are for 1938
+ the paint scheme is non-standard.

Please PM me for additional info.
