Okay, here we go; fuel pump just sprung a leak.

Apparently my new Packard isn't happy with me, I haven't even owned it a day and it's started crying tears of dino-juice; while idling for a bit, trying to see if the shutter stat was functional, the fuel pump started that steady drip, drip that offers the potential of creating an "external combustion engine" Sheesh. Looked at Kanter's for a pump, of course a core deposit needed. I'd rather buy a kit if available or a kit and rebuilt to allow for a spare (thus virtually guaranteeing that I'll never need it) but have been fruitles in my short search.
Anybody care to point me in the right direction?
From what I'm reading, some machine shop press activity may be required to do a rebuild on this pump; better off simply going the exchange route?

cheers,
michael
