Light Eight Coupe Joins the Packard Paddock

Dear All,

The latest addition to the PP has arrived! This is a 1932 Light Eight coupe (900). The car, as you can see in the photos, was 'restored' during the 70s. The interior was done in what can best be described as 'Corinthian leather', with a similar material being used to cover the hard top. A little extra bling was added with some fine plastic landau bars. The colors for the repaint were baby crap brown for the fenders and jaundice yellow for the body.

The dash has an EC Anthony tag, and the ID plate also has ECA as the dealer, but I am not sure that is believable. I have no idea how you can tell if they were added later.

The car has an incorrect carter carburetor. I have the correct carb, but no linkage. So I will be looking for linkage at Hershey.

Engine and frame numbers are correct for a 900.

I did not take very many photos yet. What I have is below. Dave, the TPN and ID plate are included.

Cheers,

Tom
