I do not know if this is correct but we have a blue 1940 110 with original paint and the splash panels are black. The entire engine compartment is blue the engine green and the panels black. The engine compartment appears to have the original paint except for the engine which was rebuilt. Hopefully a person who is a show judge can clarify.
