Yes, '41 used the dual bumper guards. Your pic shows a Junior series bumper, and the one I am enclosing is senior, from my 180. In either case, the two bumperettes leave the Packard script in the bumper perfectly readable. Using a single bumperette on a '40 or on a '41 would render it unreadable, which I guess wouldn't sound right, and least of all using a Packard original accesory.

I would love to find a '40 brochure to find out. would anybody out there have one that could check on this rear bumper guard option?

In short, what I am really after, is to find out if adding the two rear folding bumper guards was a Packard option for 1940.
