There should be a copper buss bar in varying shapes depending on the starter-solenoid combination connecting the two. Here is shown in the parts manual and is item 4.2045. If you can't find one from flackmaster or one of the other vendors, 6" x 6" sheets of alloy 101 electrical grade low oxygen hard copper is available from McMaster-Carr and other places and should be fairly easy to make something. I don't know the thickness but would guess around .093 or slightly over 1/16" for 6v. Maybe someone could throw a micrometer on one and measure if it comes to that.
