The horn in the picture is absolutley correct for the 7th series.

I understand your disappointment because it is just a low tone beep beep. In the old days the late George Jepson was the principal supplier of genuine musical horns for Packards.

I remember once he pulled into the Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point Long Island and absolutely floored the personnel when he blew the horn on his Boattail Packard.

"Did that car just play Anchors Aweigh?!!! It did! Holy Cow!"

The Klaxon horn (ahooogah) was used on the sixth series and if a customer wanted the dealer would change it I'm sure.
