In other discussions on this forum about Canadian production I've posted a copy of an article from a 1937 issue of the Canadian Auto Trader which gives quite a bit of info about the Canadian sourced parts which had to reach a certain miniumum of content in order to avoid the import duty into England and the rest of the UK. RHD cars for the UK were made in the Canadian plant up until it closed for WW II in 1939; RDH cars for other RHD countries were made in Detroit, and Canada also produced quite a large number of LHD cars for the US, mostly junior models. Search around and you should find the article, if not I can post it again.
