Series 1 & 2 Single Six Steering wheel retaining nut.

Hello again
My search today is for a steering wheel retaining nut. With all the early Single Sixes that have been dismantled there must be someone somewhere with a spare. Having discussed making one there seem to be a number of obstacles. The obsolete thread size and pitch is just one. (13/16 X 20 tpi) also the unusual size hex barstock seems to be a problem. It seems the only way I can get one made is to remove the steering box and completely dismantle it in order to have a sample of the male thread to take to my machine shop. Something I would sooner avoid if possible.
