OK, we put new Autolite plugs in it today, had to go to 4 different stores to find them (O-Reilly). Anyway, car still wouldn't start immediately but we kept pouring little amounts of gas in the carb and each time it would run a little longer. Finally on about the 10th time she started and kept running. We let it run for about 15 minutes and it now seems to idle to high, before you could kick the gas pedal after it warmed up and it would go down to a good idle speed and run about 20 lbs. oil pressure. Now it was running to fast (I think) and the oil pressure was reading 55-60 lbs. Maybe we didn't let it run long enough? Just not really sure as I/we are no experts for sure. WE cut it off and let it sit and it started right back up, so I guess it's a fuel thing? What about the fast idle?

On another note he also has a 54 Patrician that has new engine rebuild that usually always start when we're at the garage. It always starts and runs fine. Well, this time it started, ran rough for about a minute and quit. Then it would not fire back up, it seems to have about 1/4 gas in the tank. It's always something--sorry for so long.
