Well, got her running. Ran like a champ with a little white smoke. Replaced the head gasket, but have the same problem. Also some of studs someone put in were not all the way down and also appear to be put in flipped - rounded threads in. Shouldn't have done the "hail Mary" approach on that - I didn't check for any warp nor fix the studs. So, I'll remove and try again.

I also noticed in the service bulletins that they suggested using perfect seal on head gaskets. I used the Permatex Spray Copper. I've used the brush on aviation permatex on losts of applications in my life and am tempted to go after that head gasket and studs with it. I just want a runner for a bit and the motor will get redone soon enough. The only fear is when you need to remove the head again. Thoughts??

Still don't know how on the glovebox lock.
