Timing Chain

I'm rebuilding a 282, 15th series & would like to replace the timing chain. The orginal chain has about 1" slack. The chain I purchased from a known Packard parts supply is to tight and won't work. Does anyone have a NOS chain they would sell ? The manual calls a Morse 1866 RX 58 links x 1 1/4" x .375 inch pitch.
Any ideas or NOS chain supplies would be appreciated.
