R-11 speedometer cable/gear

Good Morning,

I'm looking for a speedometer cable for my R-11 transmission, but not sure how to figure out what year car my transmission is from. I'm trying to install it in my '38 Six. I've done the modifications that Pete laid out...now in need of speedo cable.

I see some for sale on ebay...for what seems to be pretty fair prices.

Hey while I'm asking, anyone have a horn button or steering wheel for a '38?
