Information about the picture I posted with Harry Truman riding in 1948 while President of the United States and running for re-election.

The following is from the book Packard by Dennis Adler on page 130.

With the new convertible model launched during an election year, Packard benefited from some free publicity when both President Harry Truman and Republican challenger Thomas Dewy chose Packard Custom Eights for their presidential campaign cars.
