which transmissions are interchangeable with a 40 110

Does anyone know what other transmissions are interchangeable with a 1940 110. I have a transmission which was hooked up to a 327 motor I think that was from 1948. My 40 110 transmission has a bad second gear. Advice would be most appreciated. thanks
