Correct Removal of Packard 6 Cylinder Engine

Just curious, The few times I observed a Packard engine removed a chain with steel plates was placed under two head nuts and the engine was lifted. I am removing the engine and transmission together. Where is the best place to attach a chain for removal, are the head bolts okay ? Thank you
