Am I mistaken that the Deluxe was a upscale version of the 120 and 160 as well???

Only in certain body styles, not across the line. In the "120" line the only Deluxe (DE prefixing the vehicle number) was for the Station Sedan. In the "160" line there was a Deluxe version of the convertible coupe and the convertible sedan.
