Some info. on the difference between the 1941 110 Special and the 110 Deluxe. A 110 Deluxe is trimed like a 120 exterior and interior. When the 1941's were introduced to the dealers on sept. 16 1940, the 1941 Special was a stripped 110 Deluxe, no stainless trim on the fenders, no chrome trim around the windshield or back window,no horn ring etc...In Jan of 1941 Packard decided to add some of the trim found on the Deluxe to the Special. Stianless fender strips, windshield chrome trim, horn ring, and a Special script to the hood side panel. They also added a Deluxe script to the hood side panel of the Deluxe models...A 110 script was never used. This all covered by Service Trade Letter T3602 and Dealers Trade Letter 287.
