1937 Packard 120 Conv. Coupe Trunk Lid

I'm in the process of restoring a 1937 model 120 conv. coupe and wondering if someone could tell me how he trunk lid stays open? It appears to me that it could be a spring / springs that hold it open as there is a tab on the hinge? If this is the case would anyone know if they are available, I've contacted several of the major Packard parts suppliers and they were not sure? I would think the sport coupe and 1936 conv. coupe and sport coupe would also be the same.
