Turning the crank journals 0.010" undersize (from standard) sizes it correctly for 0.010" oversize bearings, that's how oversize bearings are made. But get the bearings in your hand before you have the crank turned, in case the size you want isn't available. In my experience the 0.010" OS bearings are the hardest to find, 0.030 and 0.040 are much more easily found.
