Let us know what you find. I rather doubt the problem is internal to the transmission - more likely clutch or pilot bearing related, or some sort of misalignment. Though not necessarily the cause of the problem you should check the adjustment of the clutch pressure plate fingers, the procedure is in the 33/34 Service Letters (Vol. 8, No. 4, Feb. 15, 1934) along with the specification for 900-901-902 and 1001-1002, 1-1/32 inch. A special tool is illustrated in the Service Letters but it shouldn't be too hard to rig something yourself.
