In the literature and manuals section of this website, click on the 1937 "Of a Distinguished Family" sales brochure. On Page 9 there is a depiction of the Six and One Twenty trunk. You'll see the tire is horizontal on the trunk floor, retained by a rather large clamp that anchors to the floor. The bottle-type jack and tools are not shown, but the tools were in a canvas tool roll. The jack, folding jack handle and the tool roll were stored on either side of the tire. Above the tire was a wooden shelf for luggage.
