rehanging doors on woodframed car

I'm trying to rehang the doors on my super eight cause they stick a little, and I want to do a paint job in the near future. What's the best way to rehang/ adjust them? Just the thought of taking the screws out of the wood frame after 77 years makes me cringe, cause it will be hard to get them as tight in there as before (and make them last another 77 years).
