The 1939 accessory "banjo" wheel is as illustrated above, and yes, the bars are flat. The only difference to the '39 110/120 is that the Super 8 wheel was the "marble fudge" color matching your dash plastic.

If you will, post a picture of what you purchased, as it may or may not be correct...If you, or anyone else out there, has a 37 Super 8 Banjo wheel, I am seeking one for my friend Paul Ridley, any condition.
