Packard Rollston roadsters - three examples

Hi

The '34 Twelve roadster by Rollston offered in a recent Craigslist posting is a survivor, its provenance notwithstanding, one of at least three of that body style extant.

One wonders if that '34 Rollston might have existed in its current form since the 1930's. Transfers of custom bodies from the original chassis to a new one were done by various custom body companies to keep their shop busy and accommodate loyal customers who recognized a quality body wasn't something to simply discard.
