I may have mis-spoke. The original post said:
after it was completely restored. told owner/collector put/invested over $100,000 to restore it. These old cars are not banks. Just because we put money into a car doesn't mean we can get all that money back out of a car. Especially money paid to professional restoration folks.
Your number ($60,000) is probably more accurate.
