1941 180 Clutch and Throwout Bearing Questions

Hey Guys, first post here and I am looking for some information. the Car is a 1941 Packard 180 with a super 8 and aerodrive (overdrive) 3+1 transmission. Thanks in Advance!

First Question;
I am installing the trans back to the engine, and I can't seem to figure out where the little spring on the throwout bearing is supposed to attach to. Am I missing a piece? See the circled spring in the TOB_return_spring.png and the input_shaft.jpeg in the attached pictures.

Second Question;
I ordered a new throwout bearing from Kanter, and I am questing whether what I received is the correct one. Also, if it is correct, how do I install it? is it just press-off the old one and press-in the new one (see attached pictures)?
