Re: 1936 Packard 120 Trunk Rack and Trunk

Thanks Guys, great info from everyone. I see that the 37 accessories brochure is posted as well and i have lifted a photo of the 36 120B installation i seek. A couple of items are apparent to me, please correct me if i am wrong-
1)The 36 120B stock, bowtie, rear bumper guards must be moved outward and not replaced with shortys....or the trunk will overtravel.

2) The prop rod is a safety rod to ensure the trunk does not come back, even tho it is logically overcenter.

3) I am not sure what keeps the "rack trunk" from flopping. What holds it down? What keeps the prop rod from rattling?

So, I am still wanting to see actual 35,36,37 120ABC rack trunk installations. Any chance anybody has knowledge of such a rare accessory occurence?
thank you
Craig

PS - i just thought of something.......maybe the "prop rod" is really a "hook rod"
