Thanks for the reply. The "bin" lock is not the golf bag door lock but is in the lid to a storage bin behind the front seats and in front of the rear window of the 2+2 coupe. We have not located any release hole or other means to separate the lock, which needs to be removed to complete inside restoration. The retaining nut has been loosened but cannot be removed as it is blocked by the locks latch. The nut could be cut and the lock probably could be worked out with out separating but then reinstalling is another problem.
