Hi

Since we're on the topic of Murphy-bodied Packards, here is a 1927 Eight 343 disappearing top roadster by Murphy. It displays many of the styling details seen on the Olmstead town car. Murphy had perfected a disappearing top mechanism, a feature seen on their subsequent Duesenberg J roadsters.

This delight appeared at Hershey 2011 in the HPOF Class which is for original, unrestored car. Oddly enough, it also has a Hispano-Suiza style radiator ornament.
