Howard, I have a very pretty 1/2" blue jewel led light under the dash that I don't mind being on whenever the overdrive is engaged. Personally it gives me a good feeling to see it lighting up and knowing everything is working as it should be. I should mention this R11 set-up is in a 1939 Super 8, but maybe I'll get more hits if I posted this in the postwar Forums as this R11 transmission is from a 1949 model Packard.
