All of my 1940 Packard 110s (I had three) had the side hood plates with 110 but I knew that there were also more generic ones that were not model-specific with only the Packard script as I once saw one in a Northern Washington State wrecking yard. However, I found some on eBay the other day that had both 120 and the Packard script and I don't recall ever seeing any like that before. Of course, I know that the senior models were quite different but I thought that the 110 and 120 had either the model or the ones with the script, any idea why there were so many different types?
