Just a guess but perhaps related to the fact that there were multiple car lines within the 6-cylinder model line, the 110 and the 110 Deluxe.

I've never understood the significance of the 110 models with the script "Special" and those with "One-Ten" and I'd appreciate an explanation of the differences between them.
