Woven brake linings

I am looking to reline the brakes on my 740 which requires semi-metallic woven linings 2" wide by 3/16" thick. After researching online, I'm considering Redco RNAW woven lining. Another option is Green Gripper, but I understand it is so tough that it will wear the drum excessively. I wonder if anyone has an opinion on these options or others.

I believe the minimum purchase at Redco is a 25' roll, of which about 16' will be required for the job. I don't yet know the cost of a roll, but have found I can get the linings bonded locally for $50/per shoe (= $600 total). If I riveted them myself instead, it would be much cheaper but there are a total 128 rivets to set. Although the method is not particularly difficult, it would be quite time consuming as that is a lot of rivets to deal with.

Any input on all this matter is most welcome.
