Any aluminum wiring would not be original to the car. Might it be tinned copper which you mistook for aluminum.

All bulb numbers are given in the owner's manual. You can view it on line here in the Literature and Manuals section, and reprints are available as well. In either case its worth your time to familiarize yourself with its contents.
