Many, many years ago I drove a '39 Six Touring Sedan during the first two years of high school. The car had a rubber floor mat in the front and a low grade carpet in the rear. The car was 20 years old and in original condition.

Chris, your interior looks very nice, good looking material and workmanship. I believe the reason you have not seen a restored junior car of you vintage with a front rubber floor mat is they were/are not available and the owners defaulted to carpet.
