Thanks and 'hi'... your reasoning sure sounds 'correct'. I was under the wrong impression with the model numbers, thinking the 1700 4 door touring sedan was the base model and then the business coupe and wagons, etc., went 1701,2,3 etc., when in fact, ALL those 'Six' vehicles are 1700, an '01 moves up to the 120, 8-cylinder and then, with more weight and power, a bigger, thicker, even wider drum would make sense.
