The correct carb for the '35 Super Eight is the EE23 (code 10-1A) which is stamped on the flange on top piece...on left side when you hold the bowl closest to yourself.
Here is page one of the Stromberg specs... and a picture of the flange on my '37 Super Eight, which uses the EE23 (code 10-28)
