1932 Super 8 rear fender fastners

I was installing the rear fenders on a 1932 Super 8, and was trying to figure out what type of fastener holds the fender to the body. It has to be some type of wood screw since the fender attaches to wood. Does anyone know what size screw and head type was used originally. The Head type is the most import piece of information. Thanks
