1928 or 1929 Packard ID

Hi,

I purchased what was thought to be a 1928 Packard 633 7 passenger sedan, at least that is what the title says. I understand that Packard didn't have 633 until 1929. Is is possible that is could be a 1928? Not sure how the model years went back then. The Ser# is 254525.
