I did the same thing, Ken, only I used copper. Probably close to the same result but thought copper was an especially good heat conductor. Either way, there's ample heat to move the spring and open the choke fully once the engine warms up. A guy can fine tune it with the adjustment of the Bakelite cover, as well. Chris
