The standard measurement is in threads per inch, not how many it has it's full length. For 3/4" it would be either 10 for course threads or 16 for fine threads, unless it's something special, and I would expect a lug for a wheel would be fine thread.

The range is considerable and based on modern steel grades so for Grade 2, which is the softest, the torque would be 138 while Grade 8, which is the hardest, the torque would be 315 according to online data charts.

This really doesn't answer the question as I have no idea what the steel type was or even if the grading system was used then.
