Tripple Safety Light

I have a short in the light fixture and I can get the lens off but the reflective part does not want to come off, I loosened the clamp but it still does not pull off. I can get the bulb out but still cant get to the point where the wiring comes into the bottom of the light fixture to see where short is in the wiring. Any one has any ideas or have worked on these before??
